Edinburgh Pentlands Parish Church is a Church of Scotland congregation and a registered charity. We rely on many people to function, most of whom are volunteers. A few of the key people, employees and volunteers are listed below, including all the Kirk Session team leaders.

Rev. Callum Macfarlane-Grieve

Minister

Callum Macfarlane-Grieve became Minister of Edinburgh Pentlands Parish Church on 26 February 2026. He is pictured with his wife, Amy, at the celebration held at Juniper Green Church, following his ordination and induction ceremony.

Steven Leung

Pastoral Care Development Worker

Steven Leung is our new Pastoral Care Development Worker for Edinburgh Pentlands Parish Church.

He will support pastoral care activity across the Colinton and Juniper Green parish and, in due course, will be in touch with everyone on the pastoral care list.

Ian Morrison

Session Clerk

Ian is the Session Clerk for Edinburgh Pentlands Parish Church.

Hugh McCreadie

Church Officer

Hugh works as our Church Officer, doing routine day-to-day maintenance of our church buildings. He also acts as Beadle for the Colinton services on a Sunday morning.

Lindsey Rowlands

Church Administrator

Lindsey is the Church Administrator for the Parish, and works in the office situated in Colinton Church.  You can contact Lindsey at the Church office on 0131 441 2232.

Assistant Church Adminstrator

Lynn Leslie

Catering Manager, The Swing Café

Lynn is the Catering Manager for The Swing Café, which is located in the Dell Room at Colinton Church.  See The Swing Café page for more details.

Kath Hay

Editor, The Parish Publication

Kath has worked in the the world of publishing for more than 45 years. She edits our church magazine, The Parish Publication, which is published six times each year, and circulated to all members of the congregation.

Sheila Porteous

Dreghorn Loan Hall

Sheila manages all the bookings at Dreghorn Loan Hall which is available for hire.  It is used for private functions as well as keep-fit classes and groups such as The Literary Society, Colinton Garden Club and Local History Society hold their meetings there as well.
